• Involvement with audit planning programme
• Conducting regular internal audits and preparing reports
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing detailed audits
• Testing internal controls, identifying areas of risk, and proposing improvements
• Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and making recommendations for improving internal control systems
• Assisting in developing annual audit plans
• Working with a team and across the business collaboratively.
• Participating in industry-specific training to enhance auditing skills

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Auditor should have:

• A professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
• Good stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• An estimated salary range of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
