Personal care assistant required for young male
Our client is looking for a personal assistant for her son, who has autism and is non-verbal.The role will consist of supporting the client’s son on weekday mornings from 7am – 8am, to supervise and entertain him while the other family members get ready for the day. Our client’s son enjoys watching YouTube videos on his iPad, as well as watching programmes and films on Disney+.
He is also very interested in spinning motions and enjoys toys and objects which he can spin.
There may be an element of personal care involved in the role.Experience assisting an individual with additional needs would be preferred, but is not essential.
The role is 5 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday, paid at £11.44 per hour.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
