SEN Teaching Assistant - Cannock
An award-winning and highly reputable SEN school group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant / Support Worker to join the permanent team at their Stoke-on-Trent site. The Role:
- Supporting children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
- Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions.
- Providing emotional and behavioural support to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Encouraging independence and personal development in students.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to enhance student progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or community settings).
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to support.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).
- A willingness to undertake training and development.
