We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant educational institution in Scunthorpe. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for music and a proven track record of inspiring students up to and including GCSE level.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring music lessons that engage and motivate students.
• Foster a positive learning environment and nurture students' abilities and appreciation for music.
• Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
• Organise and direct school music productions, concerts, and performances.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate music into a broader educational curriculum.
• Stay updated with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching music up to and including GCSE level.
• Strong knowledge of music theory and practical skills in various instruments.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and enthuse young people.
• Flexibility and creativity in teaching methods.
