The Role: Senior FP&A Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join our finance team. This hybrid role will focus on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering actionable insights and ensuring financial accuracy.

This position reports to the Group Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models across Group, Entity, and Brand levels, including revenue, cost, balance sheet, and cash flow projections for annual budgeting and regular reforecasting.
  • Provide financial insight to support senior leadership on key areas such as revenue, cost control, compensation, and return on investment.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team and across the business, promoting a high-performance culture with emotional intelligence and accountability.

Job Summary:

  • Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to aid decision-making.
  • Develop and manage KPI reporting and medium-to-long-term planning models.
  • Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and scenario planning.
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Contribute to remuneration modelling and policy development, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.

Additional Involvement:

  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with payroll to finalise payroll and banking requirements, including journal review and posting.
  • Review and approve payroll-related finance reconciliations.

Key Competencies:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and modelling across financial statements.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, nested formulas, lookups, index/match). Familiarity with Xero and experience with Workday Adaptive Planning are advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideall someone who has worked in recruitment/staffing industry
