Applicants will only be considered if they are able to performindependent colonoscopy (including level 2 polypectomy) and have JAG certification (or equivalent) for upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy. Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital have strong reputations for performing high quality endoscopy and endoscopy training.

There are many opportunities for the successful applicant to further their endoscopic and training skills. We are not able to offer ERCP or EUS training as part of the Clinical Fellow post. This post is an ideal platform for trainees reaching the end of their training and wanting to develop their endoscopic, gastroenterology and research skills in preparation for applying for consultant posts.
