Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning and provide additional support.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback where necessary.
  • Support the overall development of students, both academically and personally.

Essential Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching assistant qualification (Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility in your approach.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude.
