About this Role

Meadowhead School and Sixth Form have an opportunity for a committed and resilient Behaviour Manager to join our Behaviour team. This is a key role within the school, focused on promoting positive behaviour, supporting students to succeed, and ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

You will work closely with senior leaders, pastoral staff, and teaching colleagues to manage behaviour systems, support students and implement effective intervention strategies to manage behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in reflection and behaviour improvement
  • Coordinate internal exclusion and behaviour support provision
  • Work with students to uphold the school’s behaviour policy
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and external agencies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A calm, consistent, and fair approach
  • The ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively
