Teaching Assistant (Pre Prep)
They should help children become independent learners, build the children’s confidence, enhance interests, be enthusiastic and help make the process of learning as fun and stimulating as possible. Having a level 3 qualification is extremely desirable for the role.
In the classroom:
The classroom assistant plays an important part in the smooth running and atmosphere of the class. He/she works alongside the class teacher to promote a positive attitude to learning, good manners and thoughtful behaviour.
In the school:
In a small team, each person’s contribution is very important. We foster an atmosphere of enthusiasm, care and respect for others. The Pre-Prep section thrives on people working together for the benefit of the children and the staff.
This is a full-time position.
