I / Reed Finance are delighted to be working with our client on an exclusive retained basis to appoint a Finance Director.
This company is a fast-growing business with an acquisitional mindset. In 2025, my client expects to see their turnover continue to grow to over £50m following on from a very successful period of profitable growth.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will be a key member of the senior management team. Based at the organisations Head Office in the West Midlands.
You will work closely with the MD, and operational directors / managers to drive performance across all business functions as well manage a finance team to ensure that highly accurate monthly accounts and reports are produced, analysed on a timely basis.
The Finance Director will be seen as a key ambassador for the business, supporting commercial activities, contributing to leadership decisions, undertaking an active leadership role in the continued success of the company.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual to become part of the senior management team, with daily interaction with Managing Director & SLT.
Whilst the primary requirement of the Finance Director is to ensure accurate reporting of financial information and adequate financial controls and processes, you will look to build relationships across the SLT and business partners within banking, insurance and external accounting organisations.The successful candidate will also have direct input to contract negotiations including insurance, capital expenditure evaluation, the structuring of finance agreements and commercial contracts.
Qualifications.- 5+ years' PQE
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- Have held a senior director post for at least 5 years
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Base salary in the region of £125,000 - £140,000 p/a
