Job Description- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and supplier statements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for audits.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Respond to internal and external financial queries professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Experience in a financial or accounting role, preferably within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.
