About the role
The Construction department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic technician to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with Programme Leaders and the head of area to provide high quality and responsive technical support.
Other duties will include:
Undertaking workshop activities, such as setting out for practical sessions.Order equipment to ensure a readily available supply of materials for lessons.
Maintaining records relating to health and safety, safe systems of work and risk assessments.
Update workshops as required.
Comply with financial regulations and record budget transactions.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with a team of engineering Programme Leaders and other technicians within the orginisation.
Candidates should also have:
Level 2 Construction qualificationPrior experience working in a construction environment
Fork Truck licence is desirable
Experience of a variety of computer systems.
