Responsibilities:

As a Food Safety & Quality Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the site for Food Safety and Quality, managing a small team
  • Supporting other departments with technical advice
  • Ensuring departmental KPIs are met and driving continual improvement
  • Preparing the technical team for customer visits and audits
  • Maintaining quality assurance standards and compliance
  • Conducting regular product quality inspections and risk assessments

Qualifications:

The ideal Food Safety & Quality Officer will have:

  • Graduate calibre with relevant food quality/safety qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 HACCP, Food Safety Training)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Technical/FSQ role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all business departments
