PS Limited are looking for a reliable, professional and flexible Care Assistant’s to work in residential care homes and the community based in and around Milton Keynes . We need experienced Care Assistants who are willing to take on work on an ad hoc basis.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Providing a quality care and support service for residents taking into consideration their personal preferences, under supervision and in line with policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medication in line with individual care plans and company policy when trained to do so
  • Delivering personal care and treating residents with dignity, respect and kindness. Providing support to residents to make personal choices that will enrich their lives whilst maintaining their dignity
  • Ensuring that care plans are continually tailored to individual needs with the involvement of the resident in order that the appropriate level of support is provided for all aspects of daily living
  • Supporting with risk assessments to ensure that care and support is provided in line with relevant health and safety requirements
  • Assisting residents with individual and group activities, including social interaction, in line with individual care and support plans
  • Identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensure they are dealt with appropriately, responding positively to complaints and any breakdowns in service
Shifts available:
  • Weeks days (earlies, lates and long days)
  • Weekends
  • Nights
  • Bank Holidays

Applicants require:
Essential:
  • Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Minimum 1 years paid UK experience as a Care Assistant
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Basic Life Support Certificate
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Full Right To Work in the UK
  • 2 references (must cover past 3 years)
Desirable:
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care

**Applicants must have an enhanced DBS which is on the updated service. If not, you'll have to be willing to apply for one**
