The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our team. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the quality of education in Key Stage 3 Geography
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 would be advantageous).
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best, regardless of their starting point.
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and provide targeted support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes for students at GCSE and A-Level (if applicable)
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the Geography curriculum and pedagogical best practices.
  • Is committed to their own professional development and eager to contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Possesses excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
