Job Description- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Process invoices and manage payment processes. (Purchase and Sales)
- Maintain financial records in accordance with company policy and legislation.
- Assist with the preparation of year end accounts
- Undertake Balance Sheet Reconciliations and review of P&L
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure financial compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team in managing tax filings.
- Contribute to team efforts in improving financial processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A sound understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
