Our Leeds Operations Team are excited to offer a Business Administration Apprenticeship in their team. As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands on experience, whilst working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your skills, grow professionally and be part of a team that keeps Northern moving.
Over the next 18 months, you’ll work with the Leeds Operations team; supporting with daily administrative activities to keep the team going. From minute taking and meeting room bookings, to supporting the wider team, you be a key player in team.
You’ll also be surrounded by supportive colleagues, who will share their knowledge and help you develop a solid understanding of what takes to make Northern go round. We not just about helping you group professionally; were about making sure you enjoy the process.

What you'll do:

And the learning bit...

All your learning will be remote – but you’ll be equipped with a laptop and access to Blackpool & The Fylde College online learning platform. For at least six hours per week, you’ll have access to all learning materials and expert tutors to support your learning journey.
By the time you have complete the course you’ll have learnt all the behaviours, knowledge, and skills to become a Business Administrator, such as: IT, Record and Productions, Project Management, Decision Making, Communication, Working with Stakeholders and so much more.

Here’s how it works:

You’ll be asked to submit an application form telling us all about you, and what would make you a great Apprentice. You’ll also have to complete some online assessments, and then we’ll invite you along to an interview where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the team and find out more about the Apprenticeship programme.

If you’re successful, you’ll also need to go for a medical assessment and a drugs and alcohol screening.

When applying please make sure you tell us about all of your predicted or achieved qualifications; this may include GCSEs or equivalents, A-Levels or equivalents, National Diplomas and Certificates and Degrees (Foundation, Bachelor, Master).

The apprentice programme will follow the apprenticeship standard and you will have the opportunity to apply for any roles with Northern that are available at the end of your apprenticeship.
