MOT Tester/Mechanic
My client is a specialist vehicle service and MOT test centre based in Heywood, Manchester covering the whole of North Manchester and South Lancashire including Heywood, Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Middleton, Prestwich, Chadderton, Pendlebury and Leigh.
No job is too small for them, they will happily fit you a bulb just as happily as we'd carry out your full annual service or MOT. Most of our customers are long standing regulars whom we've built up good relationships with, we aim to please all our customers all of the time.
Looking for them a MOT Tester/Mechanic for the very busy workshop
Monday – Friday 8.30am -5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break 40 hours per weekEvery alternate Saturday
Salary £28k-£32k DOE
Duties:
You will be responsible for MOT Testing vehicles to DVSA government standardsYou will need to be able to adapt quickly, prioritise and work under your own initiative
Communicating with service reception and workshop management to ensure faults are understood and repairs are effectively communicated.General housekeeping within working area - ensuring equipment is operating.
Completing digital vehicle health check / service sheets.
Ensuring health and safety standards met.
