Deputy SENDCO (TLR2c + SEN allowance)
Thomas Tallis is a flourishing and popular school situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We currently have over 2000 pupils on the school roll with around 700 students in our highly competitive sixth form. We wish to appoint an outstanding Deputy SENDCO to work with the SENDCO championing inclusion and high expectations for SEND children throughout the school. You will lead and manage the annual review process for some of our EHCP students and work with Curriculum Leaders throughout the school to lead and manage the inclusion curriculum in KS3 and KS4.
We are looking for someone who has:
- a SEND-related qualification, or the willingness and ability to undertake one
- successful experience of specialist SEND teaching and of raising the achievement of SEND students
- the ability to design, plan and teach a SEND appropriate KS3 curriculum
- excellent communication skills and a commitment to inclusion
