An established and stable organisation experiencing sustained growth, my client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small and supportive finance team located near Ipswich, Suffolk
Your new role
Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager, your role will focus on the accounts payable function alongside reconciliations, with the opportunity to support with other areas across the finance function.- Processing supplier invoices
- Payment runs
- Supplier query investigation and resolution
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with control account and balance reconciliations
- Supporting with month-end processing and reporting including journal posting, reconciliations and financial reporting
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a track record in an Accounts Assistant role with strong reconciliation skills. A confident approach to reviewing processes and learning new systems will be key.
