About the Service - Housing & Homelessness Services
A safe home is the solid base from which you build your life. We support people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless, as well as providing specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.
Accommodation to us doesn’t just mean a roof over your head and shelter from the elements. It needs to be a welcoming and flourishing environment, offering opportunities for all those we support to feel comfortable and develop. About the Job
Job Responsibilities To support team in embedding meaningful structured client engagement throughout the project and within the local community.Provide support to individuals using our service in their temporary accommodation and in the community, incorporating the Theory of Change, engagement, resilience and community integration.
To take referrals, risk assess and provide safety planning for people using our service. To develop with individuals, goals and support they wish to achieve. Support individuals to identify move on accommodation and to engage with services in the community.
Support individuals in maintaining good health and wellbeing, to promote independence within their own living environments. In doing so making personal change sustainable. Working in an inclusive way with people accessing the service, setting and maintaining appropriate and consistent boundaries.
