Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Post Management Co-ordinate the activities of less experienced & support staff in the treatment of clients within designated area. Demonstrate highly developed dexterity, coordination and palpatory senses for assessment and manual treatment of patients. Professional Hold a qualification enabling registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
Adhere to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) & HCPC Code of Ethics, Professional Conduct and standards of Practice. Keep up to date and understand the requirements of and the implications for service delivery of national standards e.g. NICE. Use/ apply complex specialist skills underpinned by advanced theoretical knowledge of professional practice in order to maintain professional competence and fitness to practise as a Specialist Physiotherapist.
Maintain a professional portfolio for CPD recording learning outcomes through participation in internal and external development opportunities, reflective practise and peer review to inform a Personal Development Plan.
