Health Care Assistant Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to new clients in their own homes.
  • Support the setup of care packages, including documentation and equipment checks.
  • Assist with the introduction of the client’s permanent care team
  • Maintain accurate care records and adhere to CQC regulations
  • Work flexibly to respond to urgent referrals across a wide geographical area
  • Collaborate with the Mobilisation Team to ensure a smooth transition for clients

Health Care Assistant Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in complex care, supporting adults and children
  • Previous experience in a rapid response role (desirable)
  • A full, clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently
