We’re currently looking for a QC Technician to join the Romix team, where we have vacancies on our morning 10-6 shift.

Functional Title: QC Technician
Location: Leigh

Salary: Competitive rates of pay, exceeds national minimum wage + shift allowance but flexibility is Key and Overtime when required.

As a Qc technician you will enforce and follow all technical procedures, be responsible for own Health and Safety, assist the company with producing safe, legal, and quality products with 100% attainment to plan.

To be successful in this role you’ll have an excellent eye for detail, strong communication skills. The Ability to work on own initiative, a strong work ethic and a pro-active approach to everything you do.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge of relevant UK and EU legislation.
Knowledge and understanding of GMP procedures.
Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
Working knowledge of computers: Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and company’s ERP system. Able to develop knowledge and personal expertise and proficiency in computerised system usage.
Ability to maintain open working relationships with colleagues and to work well as a team member. Courtesy and tactfulness. Interfacing skills. Work efficiently under pressure. Organisation/analytical skills. Independent work skills.
