Job Duties:
- Assist the Year 2 teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Support with classroom management and student behaviour.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties.
- Prepare and set up classroom resources and materials.
- Supervise students during breaks and lunch periods.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum for Year 2.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience and flexibility in supporting students with varying needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification.
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a busy primary school environment, collaborating with teachers and students. The working hours are Full-Time, and the role is temporary in nature. The successful candidate may be required to assist with additional duties as needed.
