Technical Operator Apprentice
Role OverviewAbout the Role
You will study towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification while gaining experience working on varied tasks and projects across the site.
This Technical Operator Apprentice role will involve working a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 6am – 6pm.
Key Responsibilities- Help investigate, analyse and drive continuous improvement across the production environment.
- Define and assist in collating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, Centreline, Process Fault Trees, and Downtime recording, focusing on Symptom – Cause – Remedy.
- Support with daily/weekly machine autonomous maintenance checks/shift inspectors and highlight any defects immediately via the work request system.
- Competently operate production machinery across the site.
- Existing equipment efficiency process improvement
- Continuous improvement of efficiency, cost, and material usage
- Working with the management team to drive the work process adoption and improvement plans
