- Typical shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-5pm.

At this friendly specialist Orthodontic practice, we care for both NHS and private patients. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled, specialist clinical team in this modern and well-equipped practice. Our Truro - Portman Smile Clinic is one of circa 70 specialist orthodontic practices within PortmanDentex, making us the leading orthodontic provider in the UK.
About you
We welcome your application to our Dental Receptionist vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this is not essential)
- A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised
- The ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues and highly motivated to offer a warm and welcoming environment
- Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues, and exceptional standards of care

#LI-XX1- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in dental software and scheduling systems
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred
- Reception or administrative experience
- Dental receptionist certification is a plus
- Ability to commute to our dental practice in Truro, United Kingdom
