Job Description- Supporting the finance team in daily clerical tasks
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
- Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assisting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Assisting with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Assisting with tax audits and tax returns
- Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- A strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
- Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
- An understanding of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A problem-solving attitude
