SEND Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assessing the needs of students and using your knowledge and specialist skills to support students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Have experience of supporting quality learning experiences for pupils and delivering specific intervention small group work
- Be motivated to make a positive difference in students' learning
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students
- Showing initiative and asking for direction if needed
- Care deeply about students' wellbeing and personal development
SEND Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or teaching assistant experience in the classroom (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare)
- UK experience as a teaching assistant
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to complete a new DBS
