A highly reputable Multi Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Health and Social Care to join the permanent staff of a large secondary school in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for the subject to inspire and educate students, helping them to develop key knowledge and skills for their future careers.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, supporting students in achieving their full potential. They will play a key role in curriculum development, assessment, and pastoral support, working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and ideally Key Stage 5.
- A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
