A large food manufacturing company near Penrith is seeking an Induction and Onboarding Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This role is pivotal in ensuring new employees have a seamless introduction to the company, aligning with their commitment to excellence in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:Help coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and training are completed promptly.
Develop and deliver engaging induction programs that effectively introduce new employees to the company's culture, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with various departments to schedule and facilitate training sessions, ensuring new staff are adequately prepared for their roles.
Maintain accurate records of employee onboarding activities and provide regular reports to the HR Manager.
Assist in the continuous improvement of onboarding processes to enhance the overall employee experience.
Experience & Skills:- HR or Administrative Background – Prior experience in onboarding, HR administration, or employee training is preferred.
- Food Manufacturing Knowledge – Familiarity with food industry standards, compliance, and safety regulations would be an advantage (not essential).
- Strong Communication Skills – Ability to engage with new employees, conduct inductions, and liaise with multiple departments.
- Organisational & Time Management Skills – Handling multiple onboarding processes efficiently and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using HR systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and possibly learning new onboarding platforms.
- People-Oriented – Friendly, approachable, and supportive, making new employees feel welcome.
- Detail-Focused – Ensuring all compliance paperwork, contracts, and induction materials are accurate and up to date.
- Proactive & Self-Motivated – Able to take initiative to improve onboarding experiences and processes.
- Problem-Solver – Quick to address onboarding challenges, such as delays in paperwork or training coordination.
Pay & Hours: Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Part time / Flexi time hours considered.Would include weekends on occasions.
