UE05: £28,879.00 - £33,232.00 Per Annum.
CMVM / Deanery of Clinical Sciences.
Fixed Term Contract - Temporary for 4 Months.
Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the finance team in the Institute for Regeneration and Repair (IRR) at the University of Edinburgh on a fixed term for four months.
The post holder will be working specifically to coordinate student finances relating to the Institute’s honours, visiting and postgraduate students and postgraduate programmes, including Masters by Research programmes and PhD programmes. Outstanding financial administrative and organisational skills and the ability to work within a collaborative team to achieve measurable goals against set timelines are essential.The post will interact with staff at all level, so exceptional teamwork, personal and communication skills are required.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
A relevant vocational qualification and two years relevant work experience OR school education to Standard Grade/National 5 (or equivalent) plus three years relevant work experience.Finance and/or administration experience in an office environment.
Proven experience of working effectively in a team.
Ability to work independently, to use initiative and prioritise own work.
A proficient user of standard office systems such as MS office including exceptional skills with MS Excel.
