Job Description- Month-closing procedures, including accruals and follow-ups with management
- Participate in daily financial procedures as needed
- Overseeing, coordinating, and responding to external accountants as directed by the CFO
- Project management, delegating tasks to ensure that deadlines are met, and establishing processes to meet defined standards
- Handle/oversee local and international VAT, tax, and reconciliations
- Statistics and insight analysis
- Keep up to date with relevant legal legislation, and make sure that all company procedures are compliant
- Prepare annual budgets as directed by the CFO and ensure coordination with relevant departments and the Managing Director
- Close collaboration with Finance Managers in other BIG entities to ensure global alignment on policies and accounting principles
- Assist setting up legal entities and registrations outside of the UK
- Relevant experience in a similar role, including demonstrable experience with Int. accounting/financial controlling from an international organisation
- Relevant financial educational qualifications
- Professional proficiency in English and Arabic
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Must be able to operate efficiently in the overall financial framework while maintaining a forensic approach to the detail
- Ability to handle many simultaneous deadlines and tasks
- Savvy number cruncher with ability to analyse and eloquently present findings
