Senior Construction Team Manager – Self Delivery Team role:
- Oversee a multitude of projects across waste and clean water sites, utilising our in-house self-delivery team and specialist sub-contractors
- This role involves leading and coordinating teams, ensuring projects are completed on time within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to all safety regulations
Senior Construction Team Manager – Self Delivery Team responsibilities:
- Lead construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Facilitate project kick-off meetings and conduct regular health checks to monitor progress and identify potential issues
- Oversee supplier performance in safety, timely delivery, and quality
- Lead constructability reviews, project rehearsals, and fit for assembly sign-offs to drive efficiency and innovation
- Prioritize zero-waste practices and embodied carbon reduction in construction activities
- Collaborate with Site Management to determine short and long term resource requirements; labour, equipment, and materials
- Combine standardised products with innovative approaches to maintain industry leadership
Senior Construction Team Manager – Self Delivery Team requirements:
- Demonstrated experience or qualification in temporary works
- Proven project management experience
- Relevant construction-related degree or equivalent
- APMP or equivalent
- Experienced in leading and motivating diverse teams to achieve project goals within budget, schedule, and quality standards
- Water/wastewater treatment industry experience
- Strong knowledge of CDM and construction health and safety regulations
- Result-orientated with strong communication skills
- Strong strategic, operational, technical skills
