What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.
- Prepare and review detailed design calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Oversee site investigations and assessments.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Conduct site visits and attend project meetings to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
- Manage project budgets and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in infrastructure, drainage, highways, and site development.
- Proven project management experience, including budget and resource oversight.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability and green infrastructure solutions.
- Experience in team management and leadership within project environments.
