This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong legal secretarial experience, ideally within litigation, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to fee earners.The Role As Litigation Secretary, you will: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earnersPrepare legal documents, correspondence, and court forms through accurate audio and copy typingManage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and court datesLiaise with clients, courts, counsel, and external experts in a professional mannerMaintain accurate and confidential case files (digital and paper-based)Assist with billing processes, including preparing cost schedules and managing disbursementsHandle incoming calls, emails, and post with professionalism and efficiency The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation or dispute resolutionFast and accurate typing skills (digital dictation experience desirable)Confident IT skills with Microsoft Office and case management systems (e.g. Proclaim or similar)Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasksExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalA professional, discreet, and proactive approachAble to work both independently and as part of a team Desirable: Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or family lawKnowledge of court procedures and legal terminology What’s on Offer Competitive salary and holiday entitlementPension schemeOpportunities for professional developmentSupportive and friendly working environment
