Security Officer - Bank (Grade A)

AGH Solutions Limited is a subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and provides a range of services to the Trust. We have opportunities for reliable, enthusiastic, people centred and caring individuals to join our Security team. Applicants must be willing to work towards SIA and CCTV badges.

Main duties of the job
To provide a security service to Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and AGH Solutions Limited.
To respecting dignity and confidentiality.
Maintain safe and secure environment for Patients, Visitors and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Patrol Airedale General Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts property and Car parks detecting and reporting crime.
Responding to any request for security assistance.
Uphold and enforce Airedale NHS Foundations Trusts NHS Security Policy and Managing Violence and Aggressive Policy.
Keep an up-to-date record of each incident witnessed.
Monitor CCTV in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR.
Control traffic on the hospital site by directing drivers and carry out trafficcongestion practices as directed by the security Supervisor and relevant policies and procedures.
Uphold and enforce the Airedale NHS Foundation Trusts car parking policyincluding issuing parking charge notices.
Complete Physical and Mechanical restraint training and other trainingrequirements that are deemed appropriate.
To work as directed out of hours and weekends/bank holidays.
Attend the Trust Statutory and Mandatory Training.
Testing of security alarms within the Trust’s testing regime.
