We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated ward clerk to join our dynamic and forward thinking team at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The successful candidates will be joining our Children and Young People’s unit.
This is a part-time position (34.5 hours per week), you will be required to work days and evenings up (to 10pm) including weekends. Your shifts will vary from week to week.
Short shifts (7.5 hours) x18 per month or long shifts (11.5 hours) x12 per month.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a range of clerical duties to support the team in delivering a high quality service. Excellent communication and people skills are essential to this post and the individual would have to display good interpersonal skills at interview.Education to GCSE standard (or equivalent) and previous clerical experience are essential.
You will be based on ward 30/32 but may occasionally be required to support on ward 12 (children’s day case ward).

Essential criteria- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience in a secretarial / administrative role
