CNC Turner Role & Responsibilities- Set & operate CNC lathes.
- Experience with live/driven tooling is a bonus.
- Over 3 years practice as a CNC Turner.
- Comfortable inspecting your work.
- Working from technical drawings.
- Well-versed using Fanuc controls.
- Previous aerospace, defence, nuclear or similar industry experience is a plus.
CNC Turner Duties:
- Set and operate CNC lathes.
- Experience with live/driven tooling is a bonus.
- Check and inspect own work.
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards.
- Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and updated to reflect current process on job cards.
- Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out.
- Always maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
CNC Turner Requirements:
- Knowledge of Fanuc control systems on CNC Turning machines.
- Aerospace industry experience desired.
- Experience working with engineering drawings and work to instructions i.e. job cards.
- Ability to set and operate different machine tools.
- PC literate.
