Management Accountant
Your new company:Hays are proud to be working in partnership with a growing organisation based in Edinburgh who have added a new position of Management Accountant to their well established team.
This will be a fast-paced yet supportive environment that will provide a stimulating and varied role with exposure to senior members of staff.
Your new role:In your new role you will have a variety of responsibilities including:
- Allocating payments and reconciling accounts.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
- Performing month-end accounting tasks, including preparing accruals and prepayments.
- Issue sales invoices and allocate receipts and payments.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Produce KPIs and provide ad hoc information as needed.
- Attend board meetings
This role will provide the right person with a great path for progression.
What you'll need to succeed:In order to succeed, you will have great Management Accounts experience, the willingness to learn and the ability to communicate with multiple financial and non-financial stakeholders.
