Up to £16.40 per hour PAYE depending on experience
Hybrid working – 2 days in the office

This is a temporary role, initially 3-4 months. Please do not apply if you are seeking a permanent position.
Key Requirements:
Part Qualified or currently studying for CIPD.Demonstrable experience of working in an HR advisory role.
Knowledge of the issues facing the customer and the challenges within the public sector, including NJC terms and conditions.
Experience in case holding, and knowledge of employment law, ability to read and execute policy.
Experience of working in a Trade Union environment on employee relations issues.
The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact and provide first line advice and support to Managers across the team on a range of HR enquiries, in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain effective customer relationships and service by providing proactive and timely advice and supporting management to take appropriate action in line with the Workforce Strategy.Log and record casework outcomes for future service evaluation and improvement.
Support and contribute ideas to the shaping and improvement of the HR/OD Service.
Provide advice and guidance across multiple sets of terms and conditions of employment and pay scales across the team.
Provide guidance to managers in the preparation of the management case for presentation at Hearings, in relation to discipline, grievance, capability, absence and change management.
Attend Hearings to advise and support the manager in their presentation.
Attend Strategy Meetings with multi agency attendees to progress safeguarding concerns.
