About Our Client

Our client is a small, rapidly-growing manufacturing business. They are recognised for their premium products and have strong base of corporate clients and a strong pipeline of ongoing business.

• Develop the accounting and finance function
• Develop and implement financial strategies, monitor budgets, and prepare financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Work closely with the executive team to develop strategic financial plans.
• Manage financial risk, budgets and cashflow forecasts
• Implement and manage financial systems and software, including Xero.
• Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
• Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Part-Time Financial Controller should have:

• A proven track record in a similar role within the construction/manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated skills working with contractors.
• Excellent debtors management and invoicing skills.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial software, notably Xero.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.

• An annual basic pro-rated salary up to a Full-Time Equivalent of £85,000.
