The Projects and Professional Services Team delivers a large number of projects for our clients, from the implementation of new technologies and solutions, through to large scale transformation projects. The team has a strong focus on quality as well as implementing solutions in timely and efficient manner, focussing on providing quality communications to all clients and helping to build strong and tightly integrated relationships.

The Projects Delivery Engineer role is an exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will deliver small to medium sized projects for our customers working alongside a project manager as part of a core SMB team. The focus of this team is to deliver projects for our SMB customers where requests are often undefined and require a quick turnaround.

The Projects Delivery Engineer will have a good technical background with a willingness to learn and develop skills around new technologies. The post holder will lead on the delivery of small and medium sized projects, be the face of projects when required have responsibility for following project processes and documentation.

The successful candidate will be accountable for overall successful outcome of all projects they take lead on and will be expected to gain the trust, respect, and confidence of the customer stakeholders. They will be resourceful, an excellent communicator, and will be skilled in overcoming perceived project barriers.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating overall progress on projects / tasks assigned, initiating corrective action where necessary, applying change control and configuration management processes and communicating through an agreed reporting process.

Technical Skills:

  • At least 2 years of IT Experience (Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, Systems Administration).
  • At least 2 of IT Experience implementation and support of cloud products: Microsoft 365, SharePoint / OneDrive, Azure, Intune, Conditional Access.
  • At least 1 year of end-user support/desktop support: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop and mobile device troubleshooting, deployment of home networks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing structures.
  • Strong knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing Protocols, Switching, and Firewalls.
