This school caters for students aged 5-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties. As a teaching assistant in this setting, your key responsibilities will include implementing different strategies to support the child’s social and emotional wellbeing, monitoring progress, providing feedback to promote continuous improvement, and collaborating with the class teacher and other professionals to develop effective learning plans.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with children with Autism or special education needs, possess an understanding of autism spectrum disorders, strong communication skills, and demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students.?
