Qualified Teacher wanted for 1:1 Teaching role in Southend-on-Sea! Minimum of 12 hours a week

Starting next week you could be working with a Year 10 Student not currently in education supporting Maths and English or with a Year 8 student needing some extra support with pshe.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
  • Assess students' learning needs and create customised lesson plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents and educators to support students' academic growth.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for working with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Previous 1:1 tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
