Qualified Secondary Teacher for 1:1 Teaching
Qualified Teacher wanted for 1:1 Teaching role in Southend-on-Sea! Minimum of 12 hours a week
Starting next week you could be working with a Year 10 Student not currently in education supporting Maths and English or with a Year 8 student needing some extra support with pshe.

Variety of Subjects: Outreach Teaching could be across a range of subjects and ability levels. You could be working with children and young people with a range of reasons for not being in mainstream education such as: children who have been excluded from school or work better in a tutor-led environment, struggling with behaviour, or with emotional needs.
Flexible Schedule: A work-life balance is important. You can choose from flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
- Assess students' learning needs and create customised lesson plans.
- Monitor and track student progress.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to support students' academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for working with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Previous 1:1 tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
