The Opportunity:
The primary purpose of this post-doctoral research position is to use gene editing followed by sub-cellular spatial proteomics to advance the understanding of how the PolI complex component, TIF-IA, regulates nucleolar re-organisation, NF-kB signalling and inflammation.
This post fixed-term for one year and is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
Your skills and attributes for success:
PhD (preferably with viva completed)Extensive expertise in mass spectrometry and analysis of the data generated.
Expertise in molecular biologyExperience of gene editing using CRISPR and targeted protein degradation is desirable.
