The Opportunity:

The primary purpose of this post-doctoral research position is to use gene editing followed by sub-cellular spatial proteomics to advance the understanding of how the PolI complex component, TIF-IA, regulates nucleolar re-organisation, NF-kB signalling and inflammation.

This post fixed-term for one year and is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

Your skills and attributes for success:

PhD (preferably with viva completed)

Extensive expertise in mass spectrometry and analysis of the data generated.

Expertise in molecular biology

Experience of gene editing using CRISPR and targeted protein degradation is desirable.
