Job Description

We are currently recruiting two Area Sales Managers to cover the UK for Baumer HHS. With a focus on developing new business the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with Process Line Manufactures as well as working with End Users. This is a strategic Sales role where the Area Sales Manager will be tasked with analysing the market to drive revenue sales. The Role:

  • Increase sales through developing new business through existing as well as new customers.
  • Work collaboratively with end users as well as OEM's to generate new sales enquiries.
  • Develop and implement the sales strategy in accordance to company growth targets.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis in order to identify new market opportunities.
  • Take complete ownership of the sales cycle from initial enquiry right through to quotation and project managing the installation.
  • Effectively manage your territory in order to maximise potential opportunities across a large geographical region.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is maintained and delivered in line with Baumer HHS expectations.
  • Ensure the CRM system is updated regularly and accurately.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • A proven track record selling technical solutions (Components or Capital Equipment) into End Users / OEM's ideally within the Packing / Machine Builders market.
  • Previous experience / knowledge of the Packaging / Machine Builders market would be a distinct advantage.
  • Capable of managing a large geographic region through strong territory management organisation.
  • An excellent communicator that is able to deliver technical information to multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to develop strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • A strong negotiator that is passionate about winning new business.
  • Is able to work effectively as part of as a team, whilst operating remotely.
  • Able to travel across the UK extensively in order to manage their diary.
