Our client successfully operates in the FMCG space, stocking multiple prestigious brands for their key clients UK wide, whilst being committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager role:

  • Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business.
  • Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
  • WMS & ERP Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager opportunity will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
  • Have a minimum of 3+ year's experience at a Warehouse Shift Manager / Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Logistics Manager level - Essential.
  • Have managed teams beyond 10+ employees through managerial reports - Essential.
  • A working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems - Advantageous.
  • Exceptional people management and leadership skills - Essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
  • Commutable to Melton Mowbray (LE13) area - Essential.

Salary & Benefits Package:

  • Salary - £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE).
