System Coordinator (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

The System Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the ongoing data cleansing and system optimisation projects within Synergist. This fixed term contract role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, consistency and usability of a core business system.

This role takes ownership of coordinating cleansing initiatives, collaborating with teams across the business, and implementing the required updated directly within Synergist.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Systems Management:

  • Coordinate and track the progress of all Synergist data cleansing projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to clarity data ownership and resolved inconsistencies.
  • Action updates directly in Synergist, including but not limited to client records, project codes, time tracking categories, resource data, and billing structures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of changes made and processes followed.
  • Flag and escalate issues that require strategic or technical input.
  • Assist with setting up new or amended system conventions, naming standards, or reporting structures as needed.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Support ad hoc-ly with Synergist based reporting.

Data Integrity and Security:

  • Once cleansing is complete coordinate and communicate an audit schedule.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies.

Process Improvement:

  • Work closely with finance, and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and best practices.
  • Capture and document and maintain data flow processes.

User Training & Support:

  • Provide basic support for users following any system changes as a result of the work undertaken

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure financial systems are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience working with Synergist or similar software is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Comfortable making structured data changes within a live system environment.
  • Good coordinator who can work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in operations, data administration, or systems coordination preferred.
