Job Description:
As a rapidly growing electrical testing and contracting company, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our close-knit team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including Electrical Testing, Installations, Remedial Works, and Emergency Lighting Maintenance (EMLs), as well as diagnosing and resolving electrical faults for our valued Facilities Management (FM) clients.
While most of the work will be local, there will be occasions where projects require overnight stays when working at a distance. Some overnight shifts may also be required for specific jobs, but these are infrequent and managed with advance notice.

Key Responsibilities:- Design, maintain, implement, and improve electrical systems for a variety of private and public sector clients.
- Conduct Electrical Testing, Installations, and Remedial Works with a commitment to delivering high standards of safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults for commercial and industrial clients.
- Prepare and submit Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) using certification software.
- Collaborate with both customers and fellow engineers to deliver a seamless, professional service.
- Be flexible to travel for work with the occasional requirement for overnight stays and shifts when working on more distant projects.

- Strong communication skills with a flexible approach to working overnight shifts or staying away from home when required (occasional and planned in advance).
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
